Create a flexible, community-focused business supporting people living with disability through creativity, connection and meaningful experiences.
Discover an opportunity where the work you do can make a genuine difference, backed by an established model, guidance and ongoing support.

MORE THAN A BUSINESS

The Creative Ability Hub was created around a simple idea: creativity can be a powerful way to build confidence, connection and a genuine sense of belonging.
As a franchisee, you have the opportunity to bring that experience to people living with disability in your own community.
Through creative programs and person-centred support, you can help participants explore their interests, express themselves, develop new skills and experience the pride that comes from creating something of their own.
And while you’re helping others grow, you’ll be building something meaningful of your own.
COULD THIS BE FOR YOU?
The Creative Ability Hub franchise is designed for people who care about people and want their work to mean something.
You could be a great fit if you’re:
A creative person
Looking to turn your skills and interests into something with greater purpose.
A teacher or educator
Ready for a more flexible way to use your experience and connect with people.
A support worker or allied health professional
Looking to take the next step and build something of your own.
A purpose-driven business owner
Wanting to create a positive impact while building a local business.
A community-minded person
Who values inclusion, connection and meaningful relationships.
No professional art background required.
What matters most is your ability to connect with people, create a welcoming environment and believe in what The Creative Ability Hub stands for.
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY

People living with disability deserve opportunities that reflect their individual interests, abilities and goals.
The Creative Ability Hub offers a different kind of experience, combining personalised support with creative programs designed to encourage participation, confidence and connection.
For franchisees, this creates the opportunity to build a distinctive local business around something people genuinely value.
Rather than starting completely from scratch, you’ll have an established framework to work from, along with guidance to help you bring The Creative Ability Hub experience to your community.
Meaningful work. A flexible business. Real community impact.

A FLEXIBLE, SUPPORTED MODEL

Start at a scale that suits you, build strong local relationships and grow your business over time.
Your business may include one-on-one sessions, small group programs, recurring activities and community connections.
As a franchisee, you’ll also have the support of an established model, including:
Training and guidance
Business framework and systems
NDIS and disability sector support
Marketing and local growth guidance
Ongoing franchise support
Build something of your own, without having to do it alone.
PURPOSE BEHIND THE BUSINESS
The value of this business goes far beyond the artwork created during a session.
Every positive experience can become an opportunity for someone to discover more of what they’re capable of.

Confidence
Create experiences where participants can feel proud of themselves and what they achieve.

Connection
Provide welcoming spaces where genuine relationships can develop.

Independence
Encourage participants to make choices, explore interests and develop their own creative abilities.

Self-Expression
Give people the freedom to communicate and express themselves in ways that feel natural to them.

Belonging
Help create an environment where people feel included, comfortable and valued.
This is what makes The Creative Ability Hub more than an arts business.
It’s an opportunity to build something that can have a lasting impact on the people and community around you.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The Creative Ability Hub began with founder Jacqueline Read and one meaningful connection.
Through supporting a young woman with disability using creative activities, Jacqueline saw first-hand how art could open the door to greater confidence, communication and connection.
With experience as both a qualified disability support worker and an artist, Jacqueline recognised an opportunity to create something different, a place where creativity could become a meaningful part of personalised disability support.
From that experience, The Creative Ability Hub was born.
Today, that same philosophy sits at the heart of the franchise opportunity: helping passionate people bring meaningful creative experiences to more communities.
